Description
Black and white photograph by Przemysław Mioduszewski.
It depicts a person who struggles to find their place in such a hostile environment as the Icelandic nature. They appear incredibly isolated in the wilderness from which they have become so estranged.
Przemysław Mioduszewski's photographs, taken during most of the year spent in Iceland, portray a person in a harsh environment, where survival is a struggle, and they become wild and unfit for the space, climate, and colors. The roles have reversed; there is no longer an attempt to adapt the interior to human needs but rather an absolute inability to find one's way in this landscape. These photographs paint a sad picture of a person so detached from nature that they can no longer function within it. They are a lost, wild creature.
