Igor Kubik is a visual artist, illustrator, and designer. He holds a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the Illustration Studio led by Dr. Hab. Grażka Lange and Dr. Monika Hanulak. He is the author of artistic books and has contributed to press and commercial illustrations, including covers for "Przekrój" magazine. In his works, he focuses on observing repetitions, rhythm, and patterns, which serve as expressions of both inner and outer realities.
The artist's creations are inspired by cubism and futurism. The remarkable plasticity of his images, resembling offset print raster, is achieved through his unique technique of working with paper and stencils. A distinguishing feature of Kubik's work is his precise, handmade stencil cutting. Each artwork is one-of-a-kind and decorative, infusing a subdued interior with dynamic composition.
